Because interviewing is high stakes for the candidate, it involves a certain amount of pressure. You’ll find out how you communicate and relate to others in a stressful situation. The more interviews you go on, the more likely you’ll be to land a job—but there’s bound to be rejection along the way. You’ll need to be resilient and bounce back
after you hear “No thank you,” and then motivate yourself to keep at it the next day. You’ll also find out how good you are at overcoming obstacles and persevering in the face of them. It’s as if you are training for an athletic event.
